In this role incumbent would be responsible for building a strong HR relationship with stakeholders, building mechanisms to drive performance management, Associate engagement and development, Career counselling, compliance of HR practices and guidelines.   

  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build engagement, and increase retention.
  • Create two-way communication between employees and management, through skip levels, One on One, FGD’s to understand the pulse and take actions as necessary.
  • Identify HR intervention needs, create appropriate programs, actively participate in HR interventions & projects and ensure timely completion.
  • Partner with COE, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners, HR Services team and work collaboratively to resolve any relevant issues.
  • Analyze trends and metrics and reporting out to business to take timely actions
  • Be an active mentor and coach for Junior and mid management on people and business practices.
  • Build and develop capability in the organization through proactive and robust performance management, PIP discussions, talent reviews.
  • Guide, mentor and coach line managers, leaders & employees regarding Syngenta HR policies, practices, local laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

  • MBA in HR from a top reputed institute
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of HR experience with at least 2 year of HRBP / generalist experience
  • Strong detail orientation and an ownership mentality
  • A compassionate but consultative, and confident approach with a diverse array of stakeholders
  • Proven Logical & critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working autonomously and navigating ambiguity
  • Good communication skills and able to prepare Dashboards & Presentations.

To engage with the teams on a regular basis to review progress and updates
