Job description

Role purpose

  • The Supply Planning Lead is responsible for defining an efficient, cost-effective and stable supply plan that supports sales forecasts and meet inventory targets. 
  • Be accountable for operational replenishment supply planning for country market. Keep close working liaison with Commercial, Inbound Logistics, Global/Regional site planning, Finance, Production site and etc.
  • Ensure all products are delivered on time in full and meet customer demand (Both Domestics and Export).
  • Participate S&OP Process & Meeting with supply gap alert, recovery plan, support to achieve consensus with commercial team to balance demand and optimize supply.
  • The Supply & Demand Planning Lead is also in charge in managing appropriate levels of inventory including its movement and validating the accuracy of both physical and system counts.
  • Releasing P/O in a timely manner to build right level of stock to support revenue targets and regularly review and maintain material master data, planning parameter.

Accountabilities

Planning

  • Ensure an efficient, cost-effective and stable supply plan (Finished Goods, Collaterals) that supports sales forecasts at acceptable inventory levels
  • Provide useful data and supply analysis during local and regional business meetings (Pre-SOP, SOP, Business Meetings and NPI Meetings).
  • Maintain accurate gSAP information and ensure that planning process is aligned to gSAP requirements at all times.
  • Support all Supply-required activities related to New Product Introduction (NPI) by working closely with key stakeholders for package development and the region for range requests approval and supply negotiations.
  • Partners with the Trade & Customs officer to ensure the efficient importation of goods through closed loop communication as plan.
  • Partners with Marketing to define the appropriate inventory buffers and recommend an appropriate supply plan that addresses forecast variabilities and cost targets
  • Monitor related cost elements within IMC control such as duties and non-duties
  • Appropriately set vendor and toller schedules in accordance with the demand requirements plans.  Ensure that all collaterals (Bulk, AI and Raw material, etc) for local repacking are available and procured on-time and in the right quantities.
  • Document changes in the planning process and identify improvement areas in business processes to make the work more efficient. 

Inventory Management

  • Responsible for maintaining   regional and international   inventory   within acceptable levels as set by Regional and Country objectives.
  • Identify ways to manage order quantity through MOQ negotiation, sourcing strategy and logistics consideration.
  • Ensure that acceptable levels of inventory rate accuracy (IRA) in all warehouses and tolling plants through the monitoring, support and management of said activities via cycle counts.
  • To review stock depletion list on slow/non mover, expirer, phase-out material. Execute proposed depletion plan with commercial team.
  • Tracks Expired and Near-Expiring inventory and coordinates with WH Lead and HSE officers on appropriate action plans to facilitate the move-out (disposal or extension) of ageing inventory.
  • Recommends and monitors levels of provision and implementation of goods disposal activities.
  • Ensure that supplying adhere to the service agreement particularly on details relating to inventory such as shelf-life, lead-time and MOQ.
  • Works with Production and Tolling Manager to ensure proper supply planning
  • Works with Quality Team to ensure that inventories are properly classified in the system

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

Critical knowledge

  • At least 5 years’ experience working in multinational organization or consultancy, dealing with senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • At least 5 years’ combined experience in Supply Planner, Demand Planner, material planning and inventory management
  • Good interpersonal skills; ability to work in cross functional teams; strong organization skills
  • Strong negotiation skills to be able to support country supply requirements
  • Strong leadership in implementation and driving to meet objectives
  • Be able to work in a team environment and collaborate with key stakeholders
  • Skills for SAP, MM and Purchased modules, Planning module, and MS. EXCEL in advances skills.
  • Good command in English
