Job description

ROLE PURPOSE

• Leads execution and reporting of Field Crop Protection (CP) trials within a geographic

• Prepare the Biological Assessment & Residual Study Dossiers regarding the local legislation and methodologies

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Trial owner, responsible for execution of CP field trials within a geographic area in line with specific technical skills in order to generate high quality field trials data

• Contributes to trial planning and design together with projects owner, PBs and other stakeholders involved.

• Conduct an agreed number of field trials through all stages, from initial planning to completion of final report, following the local standards required by authorities.

• Manages the relationship with farmer does all the necessary field work, including selection of location (according to guidance from project owner), including compensation negotiations.

• Ensures and does applications, assessments, reports and other activities, according to protocol requirements and following agreed deadlines

• Validates results and give recommendations / insights on performance of tested products and solutions at single or combined trials level

• Follow-up of external trials and on the ground interaction with CRO’s

• Support the conduct of field trial visits with stakeholders if possible

• To care of trial experimental and maintenance equipment.

• Manage the budget assigned for carry out the trials (compensation, samples, etc.).

• Collaborate with Regulatory department in order to prepare BADs and other documentation applied for getting registration

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES

• Technical knowledge: agronomy, trialing, specific training in Crop protection trials executions

• Strong Technical knowledge on crop management or indication as well as ability to work within a matrix environment spread across geographies and cultures, strong stakeholder management, communication and influencing skills

Critical knowledge

• Technical knowledge: agronomy, trialing, specific training in Crop protection (Master of science for CP indication base)

• Solid crop management knowledge

• Advanced English (written and spoken)

• Statistical Analysis knowledge

• Computer skills (ARM, MS Office, Spotfire, Power BI, Statistical Analysis software)

Critical experience

• Experiences in CP trialing methods

• Experience of tools and solutions needed for trial implementation and data collection, data management.

• Profound understanding of agronomy and Crop management

Critical technical and professional capabilities

• Executing registration, profiling-monitoring and & residue field trials, Biological assessment dossier & Residue report writing, beneficial studies and resistance monitoring studies

• Good knowledge of the Agribusiness market and trends in the area of responsibility

• Data and process driven

• Manages performance to high standards

Critical success factors & key challenges

• Good self-planning, tracking and organization

• Deliver the assigned tasks on time
