Job description

We are seeking a Europe Branding Lead to support Europe Portfolio Leads in the development of powerful brands aligned to Syngenta’s portfolio strategy in Europe. The successful candidate will lead all Branding projects in CP Europe with full accountability for delivery of branding assets and lead projects that increase the effectiveness and efficiency of Syngenta’s branding approach in Europe.

We all have a critical role to play and add value. Here is how this role will help:

  • Lead and facilitate brand modelling and message map workshops for CP Europe
  • Own relationships with 3rd parties (i.e. agencies) for development of branding assets for CP
  • Lead the yearly Branding Budget and prioritization process working closely with Europe Portfolio leads
  • Work with the CU Marketing teams to increase adoption and ease CU adaptation of branding assets created at Regional level
  • Collaborate with Global Branding, Europe Biologicals branding, Communications Teams to leverage learnings and create efficiencies
  • Act as a catalyst to share and apply branding best practices between countries in Europe
  • Champion the use of new technologies like Generative AI in branding

Primary location: Cambridge or Manchester, UK.

Qualifications

At Syngenta we are highly people focused – we look for professionals who are engaged, collaborative and excellent in execution. Leaders are expected to communicate effectively, develop teams and lead by example. Our industry and our function are changing rapidly so we are looking for new team members with a strong desire to develop themselves. 

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • 7+ years of marketing or commercial experience
  • Marketing skills acquired through MBA or advanced marketing/sales & communications degree
  • Managing complex projects; multi-tasking, keeping abreast of changing priorities and timelines
  • Strong working knowledge of branding and digital campaign tools
  • Creative mindset and good communication skills, ability to translate technical words into visuals and graphics
  • Ability to lead and manage complex projects, coordinate across functions and deliver multiple projects running simultaneously across countries
  • Strong networking skills; passion for topic; team player; keen interest to learn and contribute
  • The experience to challenge the status quo and drive change
