We have a unique job opening for a hybrid position, reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, a cross between:

  • Digital Marketing Operations & Execution
  • UX/UI Web Design & Development (HTML & CSS coding)
  • Graphic Design

You will provide digital marketing operations and execution support in the development and implementation of digital marketing solutions for our turf (e.g. golf courses), ornamental horticulture (e.g. nursery/greenhouse/flowers), and pest management (e.g. exterminator) teams. Assist in development of tools that drive growth for the professional solution business. This includes helping to develop, maintain, and implement customer electronic communications (e.g. targeted emails) and digital tools (e.g. customer-facing websites and apps) for both channel partners and end-users; B2B and B2B2C. Design and develop website landing pages and emails. Help ensure the maximum visibility of websites related to the Professional Solutions business in North America through search engine optimization, communication strategies, and effective e-campaign principles. Work closely with customer marketing teams and manage vendors to ensure tactical market and brand strategies are aligned with the digital business strategy.

The balance is about 30% Creative work vs. 70% Execution.

Remote work from home. Must be within commuting distance to Greensboro, NC for occasional meetings.

  • Works with Sales Team, Technical Managers, Communication Managers, and Marketing Managers to develop electronic customer communication that proactively promote Syngenta products, solutions, and marketing efforts.
  • Coordinate, create, and execute electronic communications to launch programs, pricing, operational updates, customer notifications, and monthly newsletters.
  • Assist with the operations and issue resolution of the GreenTrust Rewards (rebate) Program, which includes interfacing with Sales Reps and 3rd party data management vendors.
  • Assist with maintenance of our external websites, GreenCast and Syngenta PPM websites, including password maintenance, unsubscribing emails, and updates to the websites as well as overseeing Service Support Tickets for website upkeep and repairs.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Manager for new project planning as well as short-term and long-term digital marketing strategies.

Qualifications

Required:

  • 2+ years of experience in Digital Marketing, IT, or Web Development/Design
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agriculture, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline or additional experience
  • Coding skills and work experience with HTML and CSS
  • Experience with UX/UI web design
  • Working knowledge of internet architecture (certificates, redirects, domains, infrastructure, etc.)
  • Familiarity with analytical website marketing tools, such as Google Analytics
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English

Preferred:

  • Graphic design skills with Adobe Creative Cloud products
  • Knowledge of basic marketing principles - positioning, market analysis and communications
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM; marketing automation experience with Pardot strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of digital marketing tactics: email marketing, website content management, and SEO
