Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to fill the role of Business Development and Technical Lead. This position combines technical expertise with business acumen to drive growth, lead technical initiatives, and foster client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Business Development:
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
    • Create and deliver compelling technical product presentations and commercial proposals
    • Negotiate contracts and close deals
    • Collaborate with Account Managers to develop effective marketing strategies
  2. Technical Leadership:
    • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the Technical Regulatory Assistant
    • Oversee the design and implementation of technical solutions
    • Ensure the quality and efficiency of technical deliverables
    • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends
    • Updated on market analytics and competition profile
    • Contribute to technical decision-making and product roadmap planning
  3. Project Management:
    • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget
    • Manage project scope, resources, and timelines
    • Communicate project status to stakeholders and management
  4. Client Relations:
    • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for key clients
    • Understand and address client needs and concerns
    • Provide technical consultation and support
  5. Strategy and Innovation:
    • Contribute to the company's overall technical and business strategy
    • Identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement
    • Participate in strategic planning and goal-setting initiatives

Qualifications

 

  • Graduate of Entomology
  • Experience in environmental science/ household and urban pesticide industry
  • Knowledge of agile development methodologies
  • Familiarity with FDA/ FPA regulation and requirements on product registration
  • Understanding of cloud technologies and architectures
  • Experience with data analysis and business intelligence tools

Critical knowledge

  • Bachelor's degree in Entomology; master’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in digital software operation and campaign development; knowledge on Canva, Adobe, etc. on
  • 3+ years of experience in business development and/ or marketing

Critical experience

  • Strong understanding of social media analytics and how it works
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery and client relationship management
  • Experience in team leadership and mentoring
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
