Tax Analyst LATAM (fixed term: 9 months)

Location:

Montevideo; Uruguay

Responsibilities

• Support in the preparation and follow up of VAT form and VAT recovery requests
• Calculation and remittance of municipal taxes
• Tax Accounting and Reporting: working papers, VAT reconciliations, Tax credits, income tax, etc.
• Support in the preparation of income tax form and magnetic media.
• Assistance of tax authority requirements
• Assistance on the elaboration of supporting documentation for compliance purposes.
• Active communication with other departments
• Support in stakeholders´ tax related queries

It is indispensable for this position:

• 3-4 years of experience in multinational environment or Big 4 related to Taxes functions. 
• Sound in economics, finance, or accounting background.
• English: intermediate level
• MS Office: intermediate level
• Experience with ERP systems desired (SAP experience is preferred).
• Proactive Service Orientation and Analytical Capability
• Track record of compliance culture maintenance and enforcement.
• Ability to effectively work in a cross-functional matrix organization.
• Good communication skills.
• Excellent team player with the motivation to drive and improve our Tax team processes
