Into Action

Are you ready to take the lead in transforming global vegetable R&D through digital innovation? As our Digital Product Management Lead at Syngenta Vegetable Seeds, you will drive the successful deployment and adoption of a new global IT tool that will redefine the way our R&D teams capture data for breeding, trialing and operations. With your strong leadership, stakeholder management, and project management skills, you will guide a global user base of more than 500 users through this digital transition. This is your chance to serve as catalyst for change and build momentum in a complex, evolving organization.

The Challenge
This is a high-impact position where you will lead the change journey across our international breeding, trialing, and operations teams. You will build and guide a small, agile team while working closely with internal and external partners to manage tool delivery and IT integration. From developing a clear roadmap to supporting onboarding and training of internal users, you’ll ensure a smooth process, optimal user experience and timely delivery. Your influence will span across functions and geographies, requiring you to balance strategic vision with hands-on project execution and change leadership.

Company Description

Syngenta is one of the world’s largest developers and producers of seed for farmers, commercial growers, retailers and small seed companies. Syngenta seeds improve the quality and yields of crops. High-quality seeds ensure better and more productive crops, which is why farmers invest in them. Advanced seeds help mitigate risks such as disease and drought and allow farmers to grow food using less land, less water and fewer inputs. Syngenta Seeds brings farmers more vigorous, stronger, resistant plants, including innovative hybrid varieties and biotech crops that can thrive even in challenging growing conditions.

Qualifications

Your Profile

You bring a Master’s with at least 10 years of experience or a PhD with at least 5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Besides you have at least five years of experience in IT within the seed industry or similar environments. You’ve successfully translated business needs and user requirements into technical design and delivered complex IT products—always with the end user in mind. You are skilled in leading cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and driving system adoption across global organizations. Experience in data governance, agile methodologies, and IT integration is a strong plus. With your growth mindset and sharp communication skills, you're ready to lead others through digital transformation—one milestone at a time. You are willing to travel within region and internationally to meet with your partners and stakeholders up to 20% of your time.
