Role purpose:
- To manage the stock audits across all warehouses across the country
- To prepare the annual budget for logistics and customer service .
- To Manage the primary transporters to ensure timely supply of trucks for movement of goods
- Will be a single point of contact for Annual budget of supply ops
- To Lead HSE across Transportation and warehousing activities.
- To provide effective MIS and driving corrective steps for improving the service levels and improving customer experience
Accountabilities:
- To keep a track of all PODs collections in primary and secondary movement and share visibility to the CSM and team lead
- To generate the POS for all logistics and customer activities
- To manage the service vendors and attend to open issues by providing s
- Timely accounting of Market Returns and hand over to Production
- Timely approval and settlement of transporters / warehouse claims
- To ensure that the agreed service standards are maintained, and improvement done periodically
- To ensure that all Internal Control processes are effectively implemented by periodically reviewing the operations.
- To ensure that Syngenta HSE Guidelines are effectively implemented in the operations
- To analyse inventory and spent on transportation
- Will be a single point of contact to provide necessary document to Suppy fin BP as per audit requirements
- To provide transportation and ensure seamless inward & outward movement of material in primary distribution and coordination with HUBs & transporters and their local supervisors.
- Monitor daily operation of vehicle placements and distribution of vehicles to transporters including managing challenges of daily operation related to transportation or warehouse operation.
- Management of Primary & Secondary freight and CFA invoice, support vendors in issue resolution in co ordination with finance team and IP
- To ensure that Syngenta HSE Guidelines are effectively implemented in the operations
- Vendor management, ensuring the agreements are ready place before season in close coordination with procurement,
- Creation of purchase orders in ARIBA for all logistics , warehousing and other vendors in Logistics and customer service and other vendors services
- Timely submissions of monthly freight provision – PVDE / SVDE and escalations to FBP
- Management and tracking of Insurance claims in co ordination with the finance team which includes, matters for material damages ,accident claims etc which includes providing all documents needed for filing of claim settlements
- Initiating of debit notes or collection of credit notes from vendors for service deficiencies / loss of material
- Inventory management includes monitoring and tracing batch differences, permanent stock differences system (gSAP vs physical inventory) Controlling the Stock movements and accuracy, and providing visibility
- Review and prepare / revise the SOP as and when needed for process and business improvements in inventory management / write off
- Monitor and ensure the quarterly stock audits across the WH locations and review of physical stock report analysis provided by auditors and set systems to improve the accuracy .
- Providing Write off proposal, approval, and execution in co ordination with Finance BP within the given time frame, and maintenance of records
- To support CSM in blocking stock in SAP for reservation / batch not to be sold based on production inputs .
- Monthly tracking of shelf-life reports for management of inventory which includes writeoff in timely manner
- Tracking and providing the requirements for Pallets, TREM Cards, BOPP Tape, SR stickers, fire extinguishers and office computer etc. for supply to all warehouses
- Working as HSE - DSA (Distribution Safety Associate) to ensure safety in distribution is followed which includes circulars/ training for ensuring safety .Conduct safety related activities throughout the year for WH team, trainings/safety-shares/emergency drills, important communications to transporters & WHs team on safety.
- To Conduct RCA on incident in co ordination with HSE consultants and submit in Reliance with appropriate actions
- Preparing calendar for Annual HSE audits and monitor execution of the same ,work with CSM and HSE consultant to close any open audit point within the given time frame.
- Planning of Detailed Annual budget for Logistics and Customer Service (CP & FC) and workings to be done considering all possible expenditure based on business plan
- Creation of various dashboards of KPI and MIS required by various leads to evaluate and make decisions.
- Tracking of PODs and providing visibility to CSM’s , and ensuring the PODs are collected and stored in the system. Escalate if there is a gap seen on uploaded PODs.
- Manage the IT requirements for all India C&Fs to be supported and work closely with the IT team based on the budgets and ad hoc requirements
- Provide MIS on Inventory, Transporter Performance KPI , Warehouse performance analysis with analysis to improve performance and deliverables .
Qualifications

- Effective management of FG in warehouse

- Effective implementation of Syngenta HSE & Security Guidelines
- Effective implementation of Syngenta Compliance & Internal Control Guidelines for transportation and warehouse
Knowledge, experience & capabilities:
- Critical Knowledge: Bachelor Degree, Supply Operations, Laws related to CP transportation, Syngenta Policies & Procedures, SAP / Excel Dash boards , analytical skills
- Critical Experience: 5-7 years in Warehouse Management & Transportation and related activities
- Critical Functional Competencies (Skills/Capabilities): Leadership, Networking, Interpersonal and Performance Management skills
Additional information:
- High level of interaction within team and cross functionally
- Understanding Inventory management ,Stock audit process and SAP
- Should be good at document retention and working with auditors .
- Should be proficient in operating systems, knowledge of macros and KPI dashboards will be essential
