Role Purpose

•             Accountable for the delivery of services delivered by Group Facilities Management (GFM) and the supply chain at a regional level according to agreed standards for Facilities Management, Real Estate and Workplace

•             Lead the Regional GFM organisation with responsibility for Country Operational Leads, working with the Facilities Management supplier(s), Subject Matter Experts and other Business Partners.

•             Lead and implement the GFM strategic agenda and manage the regional portfolio with the Global Head of GFM along with the Regional Business LT.

•             To develop, agree and implement the Facilities Management and Real Estate Strategy for the Region working with Business Units, Global Head of GFM, the GFM supplier and other Business Partners.

•             To act as a senior ambassador for Syngenta through strong networking with other internal Business Partners, Facilities Management suppliers and other functional leadership and staff.


Qualifications

Accountabilities

•             Manage the GFM third party contracts at a regional level and oversee that all the required services are being delivered to specification (security, engineering maintenance, cleaning, catering, heating, lighting etc.).

•             Be responsible for preparing and agreeing the regional budget with the Global Head of GFM, Finance Lead and GFM supplier(s), monitor spending and accruals.

•             Lead and implement the GFM Strategic Agenda and Portfolio Management across the region.

•             Review supply chain delivery against the Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) set for the region with the Global Head of GFM and Head of Operational Excellence. Report regional data on the KPIs and SLAs, communicating results to the relevant parties.

•             To take ownership of their portfolio for all Real Estate lease and divestment activity. Collating and validating all property data with monthly updates to leadership for business reporting.

•             Manage and execute all Real Estate transactions against the Annual Regional Real Estate plan.

•             Ensure that all the regional activities meet all internal and external legal, HSE, Letter of Assurance, fiscal and compliance requirements and that all corporate standards are understood and implemented working with the HSE departments, functions and GFM supplier appropriately.

•             Accountable for the delivery of GFM related projects in time, to budget and to the required quality across the region.

Experience & Capabilities

·                     Proven background and successful track record of leadership and management of Facilities Management, Real Estate, Workplace services and change projects ideally in Agribusiness or a related industry.

·                     Comprehensive working knowledge of the contract management in relation to the provision of Facilities Management & Real Estate services, including the related service level agreements and key performance indicators

·                     In-depth knowledge and understanding of Facility Management and Real Estate Strategy or the capacity to achieve this rapidly

·                     Ability to operate and manage effectively across multicultural environments

·                     Demonstrated high performance in leading strategic functions and projects

·                     Degree or equivalent in Facilities Management and/or Real Estate, business administration, engineering/scientific, operations management (MA/Dipl Level or higher)

·                     Fluency in other European languages are beneficial
