Job description

As a Regional Finance Business Partner, you will be responsible for providing finance expertise and advice to the businesses, supporting decision-making and driving performance. Through appropriate balance of short, medium, and long-term financial planning and monitoring, drive effective and efficient delivery of business goals with sound financial analysis and advice. You will provide management with sound risk-based analysis on potential impacts, implications and propose potential ways to mitigate risks on key economic and commercial exposures.

We all have a critical role to play and add value. Here is how this role will help:

  • Work in very close collaboration and alignment with the Head of Marketing and Sustainability (Europe) and Head of East Europe Agricultural solutions & commercial excellence to ensure best in class analytical support and insights generations are provided on a monthly basis
  • Lead, own and co-ordinate Financial Planning & Analysis processes for the area in scope
  • Drive and support the Regional analysis of CP Europe performance via the MEC, Forecasting processes
  • Drive and deliver financial processes by connecting with various stakeholders for CP E2E Business performance management, such as:
    • P&L and WC management
    • Latest Outlook and Risks & Opportunities management
    • Budget preparation process
    • 5-Year-Plan and 15-Year-Plan planning processes
  • Support Regional BPR (business review) process and preparations
  • Support relevant senior regional stakeholders with any ad-hoc needs and collaborate with various departments
  • Influence and challenge to support the drive for productivity gains across Finance through process and reporting improvement/alignment
  • Support ad-hoc needs and work in close collaboration and alignment with Regional Finance Controller
  • Drive / contribute to development and use of business intelligence tools, data visualization and predictive analysis technics

Qualifications

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • BSc/MSc degree or equivalent qualification
  • 6-8 years of experience in different areas of business finance and controlling
  • Fluent English language knowledge
  • Sound knowledge of business and industry drivers and commercial issues
  • Effective finance management of a business with full P&L responsibility
  • Effective finance management of a region
  • Best practices for the development of annual budgets, latest estimates and financial planning
  • Financial tools or principles of NPV, risk analysis, and value creation
  • Experience in working with cross functional teams and ability to work with all levels of the organization
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Advanced financial acumen
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to prioritize, especially to work under pressure and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work independently as well as within (cross-)functional teams
