Job description

  • Manage the existing of brands portfolio within the assigned area (crops and product line), with the objective managing overall product life cycle management  of achieving or exceeding our 5-year business growth plan.
  • Determine and develop future pipeline, launch NPI and achieve peak sales in 3-5 years
  • Create and implement brand strategies and direct campaigns to drive grower awareness, usage, and loyalty.
  • Bring new technology to growers, aligned to their needs, and further strengthen the leadership position of Syngenta in the Indonesia agriculture market.

Accountabilities:

  • Create brand strategy and plans to achieve growth and development of the portfolio aligned with company goals.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and threats
  • Manage end to end cross-functional activities and stakeholders to ensure the delivery of brand objectives.
  • Strengthen the assigned portfolio with strong pipeline and innovation to growers.
  • Develop A&P plans and co-ordinate implementation with the Campaign Team and creative agencies.
  • Create pricing structure and value pricing, guide for channel strategy, aligned with overall marketing objectives for assigned portfolio and companies objectives
  • Co-ordinate with Technical Excellence Team to ensure brand functional and emotional benefits are fully demonstrated to growers and Sales Team
  • Lead PLT cross functional team
  • Manage country, region, and global stakeholders to ensure smooth functioning of portfolio business and commercial processes.
  • Develop competitive landscape and analysis related to the market, crops and brands to create winning edge

Qualifications

  • Holds bachelor degree (S1) in Agriculture/ Agronomy, Marketing/ Economics/ Business, Biology/ Biotechnology, or any related Science background. Master degree is preferred and become advantage.
  • Have a minimum working experience for 5 years in commercial or marketing areas
  • Experience in product management / new product development and market launch
  • Have knowledge about Brand Management principles, project management, agriculture market, commercial acumen
  • Demonstrated leading diverse team but not direct report
  • Strong in problem solving related to the products
  • Attention to detail and able to condense and communicate complex information
  • Proactive self-starter
  • Robust analytical and conceptual skills, broad financial understanding
  • Ability to think in a structured and strategic manner

Additional Information

  • This position require to travel extensively, in most case travel to village
  • This position occasionally will need to work on the weekend
