Role Purpose:

  • To lead the Global Hub Order Management activities across all Hub Operations Centers
  • To oversee the 3rd Party Hub Operations Center in India, ensure operations are fully aligned with standardized processes, drive continuous improvements, and sustain service delivery working closely with the Syngenta and 3rd Party Service Delivery Managers
  • To lead process alignment, leverage best practice and foster collaboration across all Global Hub Operations Center locations enabling efficient and compliant hubbing execution
  • To develop and deliver intercompany policies, process harmonization and automation
  • To drive cross-functional alignment in accountabilities and process improvements working closely with key P&S (Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Regional Order Management, Customs, CoE / Business Process Consultants), Legal, Finance and Tax stakeholders
  • To business partner with Direct and Indirect Tax leads to define and align Syngenta’s strategic direction for Intercompany/Hubbing, support hub setup for new business models (e.g. AVC) and govern hub process exceptions whilst maintaining responsive operations

 

Accountabilities:

  • Lead the Global Hub Operations Centers to ensure efficient and responsive operations whilst leveraging the full benefit of hubbing
  • Identify and prioritize process harmonization and automation opportunities in Intercompany transactions working closely with the regionally based and cross-functional teams
  • Ensure aligned, compliant, and service driven hub order management process execution across the Global Hub Operations Centers, both inhouse and 3rd Party operated
  • Drive the development, implementation and improvement of Intercompany rules/policies globally whilst ensuring alignment of these principles cross-functionally
  • Develop people capability and organizational requirements to meet current and future anticipated business needs
  • Maintain a cross-regional and cross-functional network with stakeholders across Supply, Finance, Legal & Tax
  • Ensure that all imports and exports are in full compliance with Syngenta’s Hub concept.

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of Finance elements in Syngenta, particularly Transfer Pricing
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management or equivalent
  • Languages: English mandatory, additional languages are an asset
  • Good command of MS office, SAP and reporting tools
  • Min 5 years of experience in Logistics & Order Management and broader Supply Chain roles
  • Sound understanding of SAP order flows, intercompany processes and Hubbing concept
  • Experience in managing complex cross-regional and cross-functional relationships and projects, good change management skills
  • Experience in foreign trade and compliance
