Job description

ROLE PURPOSE  

  • Ensures customer achieves account Budget & supports country budget achievement through maintaining sustainable level of stock.
  • Establish high customer engagement through thorough understanding of growers & channel needs; supporting customers to increase demand for Syngenta solutions.
  • Acts as first point of contact to Syngenta, own the account plan, ensuring from early-stage development to money collection a constructive interaction with the customer.

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Delivers sales assigned targets in a sustainable way as to maximize sales maintaining reasonable channel stock reserve.
  • Lead assigned customers and KA to achieve business targets and review account’s performance against KPI’s.
  •  Participates with key inputs into the transitional price setting based on customer perceived value.
  • Applies effective grower, channel and influencer segmentation & delivers distinctive value proposition to customer.
  • Ensure accurate weekly forecasting / planning with customer and closely follow account Receivables and provides relevant updates during the weekly sales reporting
  • Creates and delivers Account strategies through implementation of KA plans, optimizing deployed resources.
  • Co-ordinate Account activities with CPD, Portfolio, CS, Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Collects all relevant marketing and technical information and updates trip reports and SFDC
  • Constantly evaluates the GTM strategy for respective accounts with the Head of Sales to adapt when needed and ensures its implementation on account basis within country through the Account Plans.
  • Identifies areas for growth and makes clear, innovative, and bold choices in terms of business focus.
  • Participate in the budget processes

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES

Critical experience and knowledge

  • 5 years sales management / marketing experience
  • Key account management skills; strong understanding of customer needs, structure and business drivers
  • Understanding of competitive environment
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Agribusiness experience is preferred : knowledge of cropping practices and crop protection products
  • Arabic/English must; Fluent English is a Plus.
