Job description

Joining our four year programme within UK Production and Supply, you’ll undertake a combination of on-the-job development, formal training and individual coaching to support you towards appropriate chartered membership.

You’ll be working on real projects – and making a real impact – from day one. That could involve anything from shaping and implementing HSE and production improvements right through to providing high quality practical advice to colleagues.

Along the way, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills within the following specialist fields:

  • Plant Maintenance & Reliability
  • Mechanical or Control/Electrical Functional Compliance
  • Project Engineering
  • Process Safety – Risk Engineering

This knowledge and skill set will prepare you to progress into a role that’s right both for you and for the business.

And from there, the sky’s the limit!

Qualifications

Essential Knowledge & Experience:

  • Fluent written and verbal English
  • Practical experience and theoretical knowledge of your area of specialism
  • Strong influencing and communication skills and a flair for team working.

Qualifications

  • Masters’ degree in either a Mechanical Engineering discipline accredited by the IMechE or Control/Electrical Engineering from an IET accredited degree programme

Site Details 

Syngenta's Grangemouth Manufacturing Centre is one of our two award-winning manufacturing sites in the UK. The site was founded in 1919 and today employs nearly 400 skilled people in a variety of roles that include manufacturing, engineering, scientific and production support. Our goal is to operate “safely, reliably and cost effectively” and to help growers protect their crops and increase their yield. 

At Syngenta Grangemouth we have four plants dedicated to active ingredient (AI) manufacture, and one finished product formulation and packaging plant with the most recent facility opening in May 2010.
