Role Overview 

The Campaign Planning & Productivity Manager is responsible for driving high-impact grower engagement campaigns and optimizing MDO/SO effectiveness. The role ensures structured campaign execution, leads grower engagement, data-driven decision-making, and efficient A&P management while fostering cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities: 

 1. MDO/SO Productivity & Management 

- Establish and implement activity baselines and execution excellence for MDOs, SOs, and Value Chain MDOs. 

- Drive Saksham adoption, reporting, and utilization for better efficiency. 

- Track and enhance MDO/SO productivity through structured reporting and improvement plans. 

- Develop and implement MDO/SO Ways of Working and an Engagement Program to improve efficiency and retention. 

- Manage MDO/SO onboarding, target setting, motivation programs, and pay-for-performance (incentive programs) in line with must-win priorities. 

- Develop and distribute kits/campaign tools to support MDOs/ SOs in executing activities effectively. 

- Strengthen MDOs' grower engagement efforts, ensuring they play the expected role in farmer engagements, keeping focus on NPI establishment, and sustaining core brands. 

 

2. Grower Engagement & Lead Grower Events

- Lead and execute grower engagement strategies, ensuring deep and sustained connections with farmers. 

- Design and co-execute Lead Grower Events, creating a structured approach to influence progressive farmers. 

- Develop frameworks for lead grower identification, onboarding, and continuous engagement. 

- Work with divisional teams to strengthen direct grower relationships, ensuring impactful touchpoints across key crops and regions. 

- Drive digital onboarding of growers through the field force to increase our contactable grower base

- Integrate digital and offline engagement for improved reach and farmer participation. 

 

3. A&P Management 

- Collaborate with divisions to optimize costs and foster an ROI-driven mindset. 

- Shift focus from low-efficiency channels to high-ROI marketing mediums. 

- Promote a Phygital (Physical + Digital) approach to marketing and farmer engagement. 

- Provide A&P reporting with actionable insights to enhance efficiency and impact across divisions.  

 

4. Campaign Process Management 

- Own the end-to-end campaign lifecycle, including pre-season preparation, rollout, campaign KPI setting, execution tracking, reviews, and actions for all stakeholders. 

- Continuously simplify processes and enhance campaign effectiveness. 

- Develop and implement campaign strategy upgrades to improve outreach and engagement. 

- Co-lead and manage all offline grower-facing initiatives, ensuring alignment with company objectives. 

- Collaborate with divisional teams to gather creative /content requirements. 

- Oversee the execution of offline grower engagement initiatives, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet defined objectives. 

 

5. Data-Driven Decision Making 

- Develop and implement metrics to assess MDO/SO productivity and campaign ROI. 

- Continuously monitor and analyze the effectiveness of grower-facing initiatives, focusing on maximizing investment returns. 

- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve the efficiency of campaigns. 

 

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration 

- Build connections across Business Units (BUs) and international teams to identify and adopt best practices in campaign execution. 

- Work closely with Product Managers to understand grower-focused campaign challenges and develop targeted solutions. 

- Collaborate with the Communication Manager, Digital Manager, Digital Team, and Division Teams to ensure alignment. 

- Work with Syngenta Foundation to integrate CSR-driven initiatives into grower engagement programs.
