The HR Solutions and System Manager is responsible for delivering consistent and reliable performance outcomes through leading, coaching and motivating a team of HR S&S professionals. This person will be focused to manage the HR Solutions and System agenda for 18 countries in LATAM, creating the conditions for high performance standards, continuous improvement of HR Operations on the region, and specifically, a great employee experience. Likewise, working in partnership HR community to enhance the decision based on Data & Analytics to support the business. In addition will be required act as a focal point for LATAM on the HR S&S committees and global projects.

Main Accountabilities:

  • Manage the HR S&S team for LATAM with four team members.
  • Manage and ensure the delivery of HR projects portfolio for LATAM, through the management of a centralized regional project portfolio and a structured governance that enables visibility, prioritization and appropriate resource allocation.
  • Guarantee LATAM’s needs are positioned on the Global HR Project Portfolio and Global Continuous Improvement portfolio through strong business cases.
  • Leverage project management knowledge and standardized practices across the HR LATAM Community to ensure the delivery of successful projects  and sustainable transformations.
  • Support HR Operations aspects of Mergers and Acquisitions in LATAM.
  • Lead and raise the level of performance of HR Ops service delivery, raising constantly the Bar to Developing a Superior Service Model focused on Employee Experience.
  • Lead and inspire a proud, engaged and committed team. Coach and manage the team to grow their leadership skills and impact. Implement good talent management practices to ensure stability and continuity of resources in a highly mobile context. Build a talent pipeline of highly skilled and motivated talent for HR.
  • Responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR Systems in LATAM ensuring the HR and business continuity. Likewise, to deploy new solutions and technologies according to business needs, the Global/LATAM HR technology roadmap and market trends.
  • Actively partner with the HR community “BPs, COEs and HR Ops” to ensure the standard, quality, continuity of the delivery and the best service experience for Syngenta employees.
  • Represent the HR S&S LATAM within global S&S committee and contribute to the development of the strategic vision and plan for the function and HR.
  • Cascade down Global initiatives and support on regional implementation.
  • Ensure compliance on daily activities.
  • Ensure D&I principles are followed.
  • Promote continuous improvement mindset via communication, training, and coaching, supporting the team being self-sufficient on leading improvement initiatives.
  • Promote sharing of best practices among the Delivery Centers in LATAM.
  • Promote HR analytics awareness and insights.
  • Benchmark with other regions and externally to identify and leverage new solutions and practices.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Graduate in Administration, IT, HR, Engineering, or other co-related areas

Languages:

  • Fluent level of English
  • Fluent Level of Spanish
  • Fluent Portuguese

Critical experience:

  • 4 years with experience leading Solutions and SystemHRIS or similar function.
  • Experience of having successfully engaged, motivated and influenced a variety of stakeholders at all levels, balancing holding the tension when needed, with being responsive to customer needs.
  • Experience in people/team management, developing and engaging.
  • Solid knowledge in HR System, Data and analytics management.
  • Ability to identify and manage continuous improvement initiatives and change management.
  • Knowledge in performance metrics and the ability to apply tools and techniques to improve the outcomes.
  • Customer Service and client centricity mindset. Raising the Bar: Developing solutions focused to promote Employee Experience.
  • Ideally, knowledge of Workday and/or Service Now.
  • Knowledge in the subareas of HR services, including payroll, administration of benefits, Absence and data management.
  • Experience leading leaders is preferred.
