Accountabilities

   

Finance:

  • Cost Accounting: Lead and oversee cost accounting activities in all related countries to ensure accurate allocation and reporting of costs, supporting business decision-making and strategy development.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior leadership, internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Compliance & Regulations: Stay updated with evolving financial regulations, ensuring that the organization remains compliant with all local and international accounting standards and regulations.
  • Cost Management:
  • control functional expenses in related countries to ensure alignment with budget.
  • propose cost savings initiatives.
  • ensure salaries and other benefits payments are in accordance with the policy and the local labor laws (this includes calculating and reviewing salaries), including income tax and social security.
  • Cash Management: Manage the funding process for the CRO’s (Country Representative offices) and petty cash reconciliation.
  • Budgeting and planning:
  • Support Business Area Finance Business Partner in function costs forecasting process.
  • Provide Finance Business Partner support on specific cost initiatives.
  • Banking:
  • Bank relationship management.
  • Credit card program management.
  • Audit: Support annual audit for CRO’s.
  • Tax Management: Support annual tax filling preparation process for CROs, and any other tax reporting requirements.

CRO Jordan Management

  • Contribute to and be an active member of the Country Management Team.
  • Work with the Leadership Team to develop and improve operational performance.

Compliance:

  • Ensure CROs operate in line with the internal policies.
  • Support the development and implementation of countries policies and other strategic initiatives Internal Controls: maintain robust internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting and business and financial risk management.
  • Use systems and technology to enhance the E2E process efficiency and effectiveness, in line with the compliance framework.

Qualifications

 

Critical Knowledge and Experience:

  • Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, or equivalent preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance and accounting, with at least 5 years in a management role.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate finance and other accounting theory, principles, and practices, including IFRS.
  • Prior experience in an international/multi-country setting preferred.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, able to prioritize, multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines. Able to make things happen with minimum supervision and to work independently and effectively as part of a cross-functional team.
  • Willingness and ability to work hands-on with administrative tasks, as well as leading projects.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Superior computer skills, including proficiency in Excel.
  • Proficiency in English.
