Job description

A Senior QA Engineer specializing in manual and automation QA is responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications and systems through manual as well as automation testing processes.

Responsibilities :  

  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts 
  • Perform manual and automated testing across various platforms and environments 
  • Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools 
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure quality standards are met 
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality 
  • Conduct performance, security, and usability testing as needed 
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies 
  • Mentor junior QA team members and share best practices  

Requirements : 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 
  • 4-5 years of experience in software quality assurance and testing 
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes 
  • Experience with both manual and automated testing techniques 
  • Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) 
  • Familiarity with test management tools (e.g., TestRail, JIRA) 
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities 
  • Experience with mobile application testing 
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Qualifications

•Master's/ Bachelor’s degree or related disciplines preferred

•5+ years relevant experience required
