Turf Specialist

• Play a positive and productive role in turfgrass management, to maintain company goal of creating inspiring golf experiences
• Conduct regular visits to customers to build relationships, assess their needs, and recommend effective solutions that fit their goals and budget
• Execute appropriate sales and marketing strategies to achieve volume and financial targets
• Create technical product recommendations to drive product at end user level to achieve Increased on ground market share
• Develop technical training sessions for retail partner sales personnel
• Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of the turf industry, including industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities
• Provide product demonstrations and training to customers, ensuring they are well-informed about product usage and safety

Required:

• University education with an Agricultural or Turfgrass Science degree
• Minimum of five years in the Turfgrass Industry
• Knowledge of the Turf industry and the Crop Protection Industry

Preferred:

• Proven track record of sales growth
• Solid relationships with high credibility among centers of influence and end users
• The ability to turn technical knowledge into a story that will resonate with a diverse range of customers
• Broad based knowledge of the Turf industry and all areas of turfgrass management (fertilization, cultivation, irrigation, pest identification and control) to reinforce respect and credibility amongst end user groups

We have a Flexible Work Location approach and this role can be based in Guelph, ON, Calgary, AB remotely across Canada.
