ROLE PURPOSE  

  • Accelerate product introduction, promotion and demand creation for both new and existing VEG SE varieties in order to boost the sales
  • Organize Demo trials for customers and promote the varieties during the customer visits
  • Support the work of the Marketing & Sales BU Turkey and BU & territory teams by providing them with sufficient technical information on the product behavior and performance to help them in the product positioning and sales

ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Generate customer demand for specific vegetable seeds relevant to the assigned geography of responsibility to support VEG BU targets
  • With strong agronomic  and sales experience in VEG
  • Ensures demo field trials are executed and visited by customers for 6.2 and 7 varieties in alignment with campaign plans
  • Oversee the performance of PLC 6.1 trials with Trialing officers and the TER Product manager by regular visits
  • Supports NPI launches, executes the campaigns by delivering the key messages and promo materials to the customers
  • Be the technical reference for the assigned VEG crops: provide technical support on varieties to customers and BU sales & marketing team + Marketing operations (trial visits, presentation, technical document)
  • Collect market/competitor information and information on varieties performance and provide them to Sales & Marketing BU units and CEE territory  Product managers
  • Handles the technical side of the customers complaints
  •  Ad-hoc participation in local pre-HPC and key member of the respective local crop unit
  •  Accountable for sales to a group of customers 
  •  Negotiate volume, price and credit with customers
  •  Follow-up on seeds deliveries, customers payment
  •  Provides training and development to the channel
  •  Supply forecast information (1-3 Year) to SAM & BU head
  •  Provides feedback from Demo trials to the R&D, CEE product managers
  •  Identifies customer needs and will identify resources to ensure successful outcome
  •  Key interfaces:  TER PMs, Sales Reps, Marketing operations, KAM, Trialing officers

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE & CAPABILITIES

Critical experience and knowledge

  • Agricultural university degree
  • With strong agronomic  and sales experience in VEG, above 5 years of work experience
  • Some marketing experience could be a plus
  • Good knowledge of the Vegetables Seeds market and customer needs
  • Native Turkish with at least basic English language

Additional information:

  • Travelling up to 80% for customer & trial visits
