Technical Lead Herbicides

We have a Flexible Work Location approach, and this role can be based in Calgary, AB or remotely across Western Canada (AB, SK or MB). 

Duties:

• Provide technical leadership and direction of the cereal and pulse herbicide portfolios.
• Lead the technical launch of new products; provide technical guidance on performance, positioning, risk and sustainability.
• Lead the development and execution of the technical field plan and technical marketing tactics.

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Weed Science or Agronomy (Masters of Science or PhD preferred).
• Minimum 5 years experience in the Ag industry.
• Broad understanding of product development process, developing field trial protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Broad agronomic knowledge of crop production in Canada.
• Excellent project management skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
