What you’ll do

In accordance with the training system requirements of "Syngenta Group China Scientists Program", complete the job rotation training in scientific research institutions highly related to one's own major, and participate in professional training and vocational quality training. According to the job responsibilities at different stages, complete the following tasks:

  • Drive innovation in Agricultural Life Science
  • Conduct groundbreaking research to develop next-generation agricultural solutions
  • Collaborate with global experts and lead industry-academia partnerships
  • Shape the future of farming

Qualifications

  • 2025 Ph.D. graduates from top universities, postdoc fellows or young scientific researchers
  • PhD Research fields include agriculture, plant science, plant pathology, biochemistry, entomology, weed science, soil science, integrated pest management (IPM), plant nutrition, agricultural microbiology, organic chemistry, chemical engineering, microbiology, synthetic biology, and other related disciplines.
  • Passion in scientific research work, possessing industry insight, scientific excellence, courage to explore, and strong curiosity to learn and adapt.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Team player. Confident, optimistic, entrepreneurial, innovative, and resilient. Having excellent learning agility and capacity to think broadly and strategically.
  • Excellent academic achievements. Proven ability to learn and adapt. Good English listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Able to quickly master new knowledge and technologies and adapt to the company's business environment and job requirements.
  • Must use Chinese as working language
