We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Full Stack Drupal Developer to join our team and work on our enterprise-level multisite, multi lingual Drupal environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Drupal 9/10 and its ecosystem, with proficient knowledge of Drupal APIs, module/theme development, architecture, performance optimization, and strong leadership and mentorship skills.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy Drupal-based solutions.
- Mentor junior developers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of projects.
- Develop and maintain custom modules and themes as per project requirements.
- Write clean, well-documented, and reusable code that adheres to industry standards and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines are followed.
- Optimize site performance, including database tuning, caching, and other performance optimization techniques.
- Implement security best practices, such as securing user data, protecting against vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues related to Drupal, PHP, MySQL, and web hosting environments.
- Keep up-to-date with emerging trends, techniques, and technologies in Drupal and related technologies, contribute to the Drupal community, and make recommendations to improve the project.
Requirements / qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience in full stack Drupal development, with a deep understanding of Drupal 8/9/10.
- Expert-level experience with Drupal 8/9, and proficient experience with Drupal 10.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to dive deep into complex issues and provide viable solutions.
- Excellent leadership and mentorship skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of developers
- Strong proficiency in Drupal APIs, module/theme development, architecture, and performance optimization.
- Strong knowledge of PHP, Symfony framework, MySQL, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS, HTML, and other related technologies.
- Experience with Apache Solr.
- Understanding of web security best practices and experience in implementing security measures in Drupal sites.
- Experience with enterprise-level multisite Drupal project development and enterprise level cloud hosting platforms (Acquia, Acquia Site Factory, Pantheon) is preferred.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Experience with Git version control and deployment workflows.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team and manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to code quality and maintainability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or a related field.
