Location: Cartagena de Indias, Colombia

You will be part of P&S team and will play a critical role leading Cartagena site Through the values Passion for customers, Long View and Determined Execution you will live and experience more of this role. Here is how this role will be critical to our business:

Purpose: To lead the site´s resources and continuously improve the processes and assets to meet the business needs in terms of Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, customer response, cost and efficiency and full compliance

Accountabilities:

• Autonomous Leadership of Site in line with Syngenta culture and Supply Chain strategy.

• Manage the fixed, variable and capital cost performance in line with agreed budgets and targets.

• Ensure all Health, Safety, Environment, Quality, Legal and fiscal standards are continuously improved and monitored, that risks are controlled and minimized, complaints are investigated, and improvement actions implemented.

• Ensure high levels of customer service and responsiveness for all products supplied all markets

• Identify motivate and coach key resources to drive and deliver a site-wide improvement project and performance improvement initiatives.

•Contribute to and influence the regional asset and product siting strategy and support implementation through proactive participation in the Regional Leadership team.


Qualifications

Essential for this position:

• Professional experience: >10 years or more in leadership positions in Manufacturing Plants for multinational companies in Agroindustry, Oil and Gas Industry, Pharmaceutical, Mass Food Consumption, among others. Master / Postgraduate studies in Finance or Business Strategies. (preferred)

• Academic background: Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Production Engineering, or other related careers.

• Language: Spanish and English Fluent (mandatory) Portuguese intermediate. (desirable)

• Functional capability: Six Sigma, TPM or Lean Manufacturing Operational Excellence certifications (desirable)

• Skills: Ability in Leadership and influencing others, Assertive communication, and Relationship at all levels of the organization.

• Knowledge/Experience: In leadership and implementation of projects of integral improvements in Manufacturing Plants. Knowledge of Finance and Business Strategies. Advance knowledge in Microsoft Office.

• Knowledge in the Agroindustry
