Job description

Role purpose

Ensure effective and efficient supply planning activities for Seeds, manage the warehousing and transport operations

Accountabilities

  • Ensure the demand is Update demand plan / replenishment plan based on the output from the preS&OP process using Syngenta planning systems.
  • Provide visibility to sales and supply planning team on Seeds allocation and provide the relevant reports for decision making.
  • Proactively identify and communicate future supply constraints, allocation, T&P campaign phasing and suggest solutions in order to meet market expectations.
  • Maintain, keep updated master data, ensure accuracy of planning information in all planning systems.
  • Challenge commercial forecast regarding, market, sales history stocks through proper reports and statistics, as well as drawing the attention to the cost/benefit balance not to increase unnecessary complexity.
  • Constantly seek forecasting process improvement and contribute to the Supply Chain continuous improvement projects.
  • Control SE inventory management, look for redeployment option if needed.
  • Ensure timely and accurate customs clearance of goods and complaint management.
  • Prepare various reports in line with legal requirements (Intrastat, Waste management) or with the internal requirements.
  • Cost control of the services / invoices received from the service providers.
  • Liaise strongly with local 3PL providers, assist in stock reconciliation. Monitor their HSEQ performance against legal and company standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
  • Knowledge of Planning, Logistics Cycles, Production Cycles
  • Fluent in English (verbal as well as in writing)
  • Knowledge of supply chain and sales operation drivers and logics
  • Min 3 years' experience in planning / logistics
  • Demonstrated experience of ERP/MRP systems
  • SAP and Microsoft office skills at the proficiency level
  • Proven ability to deliver promises under tight time lines
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Able to cope with pressure and conflicting demands
