Role Purpose:

The position will be accountable for further development and implementation of CRM and Digital Marketing Strategy in Black Sea.  The holder will act as key enabler in digital campaigns, marketing automation, leads funnel, content development and digital road map roll-out.

Defines impactful customer journeys and supports countries to implement them through SFDC marketing cloud, with a focus on the making the growers digital journey easy and enjoyable.

Accountabilities:

  • Accountable for development, articulation and implementation of Syngenta BU CRM and Digital strategy, with focus on Operational excelence and Digital marketing that will enable and support sales and marketing activities aiming revenue and profitabilty growth for Syngenta.
  • Identifies key trends, insights, short- and long-term opportunities / challenges to build and communicate strategic direction effectively, exciting people around the digital marketing vision and aligning diverse teams to achieve success.
  • Minimizes costs to serve customers through use of digital tools and improve digital KPIs YoY.
  • Ensures effective communication and teamwork among the customer marketing team and with other functions in Syngenta, especially Marketing Managers Team, Marketing Services Team and Sales.
  • Effective communication, teamwork and regular contact with Marketing, Sales and Digital Communities to assure new digital development, embrace change and improve digital understanding.
  • Understand and comply with all legal standards (such as competition law, personal data protection, copy rights law, etc.).
  • Delivery on digital KPIs through leverage of information, customer insights and analytics.
  • Accountable for strategy development across Syngenta digital platforms such as social media, website, mobile apps, return on investment for online media buying advertising and improvement of field force digitalization.

Qualifications

Critical experience and knowledge:

  • Strong grasp of current digital marketing tools and strategies
  • Strong analytical skills, with a high degree of comfort with data-driven problem solving
  • Able to build strong relationships with agencies and business partners
  • Able to think strategically but also execute end-to-end
  • Customer Experience Management, Customer Journey Mapping and Lead Nurturing Experience preferred
  • Positive attitude & strong ownership and accountability
  • Customer-centric mindset, ability to think holistically about E2E experience and spot pain points
  • Experience managing day-to-day omni-channel operations
  • Proven experience in content marketing, preferably in b2b
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to understand and translate technical information into business benefits and thought leadership themes
  • Editorial mindset with an ability to understand the audience's content preferences
  • Demonstrated self-starter with an ability to manage and motivate other team members
  • Excellent people skills to interact with colleagues, customers, cross-functional teams, and third parties
  • A team player but can lead a cross functional team, particularly under time and resource pressure
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects with tight deadlines
  • Hands on experience with SEO, web traffic and social media metrics
  • Demonstrated experience of designing and executing strong inbound generation campaigns using a wide variety of media and mediums
  • Solid understanding of web publishing requirements a bonus
  • At least 3 years of experience in digital, CX and CRM
  • At least 1 year of experience in project management
  • Fluent in English
  • Strong knowledge of Romanian grammar

Critical technical and professional capabilities:

  • Google Analytics, Google AdWords, SMO & SEO, website platforms (Drupal), SFDC
  • Designs/implements effective digital strategies
  • Supports digital marketing strategy implementation
  • Able to use market research and digital analytics effectively to understand customer, markets, channels
  • Understands customer needs
  • Communication and presentation skills
  • Project management skills
