About Us

You will enhance the prosperity of farmers by: 

  • Supply Operations is responsible for maintaining a global balance of supply to deliver customer demand for Syngenta Vegetable Seeds products, within a 0–12-month window. 
  • Daily activities include managing and communicating operational priorities, mitigating supply issues, while tracking and processing product from production fields to the grower’s field. 

Accountabilities  

  • Serve as liaison between Field Operations, Plant Operations, Distribution, and Commercial to oversee and communicate a confirmed sales plan to meet financial goals and satisfy customer needs.
  • Review inventory, orders, and forecast to communicate shortages and opportunities
  • Analyze, manage, and communicate supply availability to appropriate stakeholders
  • Collaborate with commercial and lead crop teams to manage issues, improve processes, and ultimately balance supply and demand
  • Utilize Syngenta’s systems and reporting, including SAP to manage inbound crop from raw (uncleaned and untested) seed through conditioning (cleaning), seed health, quality, treating, and packaging.
  • Utilize Syngenta’s system (SAP) to communicate the types of conditioning, re-work, seed health repairs, treatments, and packaging to be used to deliver Syngenta’s products to our customers.
  • Collaborate with commercial teams to determine the appropriate mix of pack to order vs pack to forecast and maximize operational capacity.
  • Formulate conditioning strategies to minimize interplant costs and facilitate on-time deliveries
  • Maintain effective working relationships and communication with other key stakeholders across functions and geographies as required
  • Support and lead special projects for Global Supply Operations as necessary
  • Manage distressed inventory to limit discards

Qualifications

Requirements 

  • Degree or equivalent working experience in Supply Chain, Material management or Logistics.
  • Advanced level of understanding of supply planning processes and tools.
  •  3+ years of experience in a supply operations environment.
  • Successful contribution to projects and initiatives.
  • Project Management methodology.
  • Basic understanding of finance & trade compliance
  • Language skills: Fluent in English
  • Microsoft office and MRP tools literacy
  • Leadership skills
