Reliability Engineer

We are currently recruiting a Reliability Engineer to work in a permanent position in our Engineering department on site in Huddersfield.

The purpose of this role is to lead local reliability improvement programmes to deliver improvements in plant safety, reliability, availability, integrity, maintenance and costs, in line with the business needs.

• Use data for identification of bad actors on HSE performance, production interference and high cast.
• Able to facilitate criticality studies for large asset lists.
• Optimise maintenance strategies and spares requirements.
• Scope alternative engineering / operation / software solutions to challenges.
• Manage projects.
• Risk assess engineering equipment.
• Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) at all levels from 5why to Apollo process.
• Use A3 process to manage multidisciplined / cross boundary improvements.
• Facilitate FMEA studies.
• Facilitate Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM).
• Coach and mentor staff as required.

• Engineering degree or equivalent experience.
• RCM experience.
• RCA experience.
• Experience in chemical plant / process operations and maintenance.
• Proficient with CMMS systems and RCM / RCA software.
