Regional Supply Chain Strategy Manager

Purpose*

• To actively contribute to the design of the product supply chain strategies aligned to customer, portfolio and market requirements.  Provide leadership and co-ordination of the product siting and supply network strategies with a focus on Cost of Goods, new product introductions, responsiveness, optimised delivery to market, fixed assets, working capital and product range.
• Working with Global Supply Chain Management, Regional Functional and Country leaders lead the regional supply chain asset and network strategy team in the design and development of product siitng and supply network strategies to align to regional portfolio and growth strategies and continuously enhance supply chain financial performance and competitiveness in the market place for agreed product and country priorities.
• To own business risk management for AMEA supply chains to establish sustainable and robust risk and resilience management across AMEA P&S aligned to Global risk management and overall AMEA risk management process
• To own strategic supply chain projects on behalf of the AMEA P&S to implement strategy delivery

Accountabilities

• To optimize financial performance and deliver product siting and supply network strategies which enable cost effective, robust product supply chains across AMEA. Contribute to the total cost of goods and regional inventory targets, to ensure clear accountability for the delivery of activities from a product perspective which contribute towards those targets (including monitoring and tracking performance through appropriate KPIs).
• From a supply chain perspective, to manage the AMEA portfolio through all life cycle stages, aligned to country portfolio segmentation, and to enhance customer focused product offers by value-adding supply chain responsiveness and cost models.
• Leadership of the regional product siting and supply network strategy team.
• Chair of the Regional Siting governance body and key contributor to the regional SSSC governance body.
• Provides input to the 5 year CAPEX investment plan for AMEA to underpin the agreed supply chain strategies.
• Leadership of supply network projects (eg but not exclusive to RU localization, Cross-regional localization driven by Egalim).
• Working with Global, Country and Functional leaders, to support the update and documentation of the strategic siting and supply network designs with regular inputs to the 5 year plan.
• Contribute to the growth of the country business through leadership from design, development and in implementing product supply chain concepts and strategies that are aligned to and support the overall product, market and functional strategies.
• Build a strong P&S capability across AMEA for product supply chain management and strategy development.
• Establish a cost competitiveness culture across AMEA P&S.
• Core member of the AMEA P&S Leadership Team
