Job description

We are hiring a Human Resources Generalist to support our Crop Protection Business in our NA Crop Protection HQ in Greensboro, NC.

Duties:

  • Continue enhancing your HR skills in a developmental role within the Human Resources Business Partnering team.
  • Provide professional HR support to Human Resources Business Partners (HRBPs), business leaders, and employees in the Crop Protection and within Corporate Functions.
  • Influence overall process improvement and consistency throughout core processes to help drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Partner with HRBPs and Centers of Excellence to guarantee that HR processes and systems support the achievement of business objectives.
  • Leverage strong analytical abilities to deliver actionable insights for the HRBP team and the business.
  • Coach and support managers for people-focused processes and initiatives, such as performance and talent management, recruitment, HRIS navigation, and termination notifications.
  • Provide excellent customer service and advice to employees as they pose inquiries related to internal system navigation, policy processes, clarification, and personal career development.
  • Partner with HR colleagues and business leaders to revise and present monthly onboarding sessions for new hires through virtual webcasts.
  • Actively participate in employee relations investigations, with the support of the HRBP and internal Employment Counsel.
  • Support with immigration processes, in conjunction with Syngenta’s Global Mobility team and Immigration Lead.

This position will be in a hybrid work setting, with the expectation to typically be in the office in Greensboro 3 days per week

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience working in Human Resources.
  • Exposure to US HR practices, policies, laws.
  • Experience managing employee relations.

Preferred:

  • HR business partnering experience.
  • Experience with HR analytics and reporting tools.
  • HR certification from SHRM or HRCI.
