Job Description

Location: Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco - Mexico

Here is how this role will be critical to our business:

Role Purpose

  • Being the first point of contact for quality management and ensuring regulatory compliance at the station.

Accountabilities:

  • Facilitate local process development, implementation, review/approval and maintenance.
  • Facilitate the maintenance and storage of documentation and records of regulatory compliance.
  • Facilitate training of local staff on general management and quality requirements, requirements regulatory compliance, business processes and use of the quality database.
  • Communicate regulatory compliance issues to local staff.
  • Understand internal (Syngenta) and external requirements and ensure adherence to them.
  • Provide feedback to Regulatory Compliance and QMS on the practical implementation of the programs.
  • Ensure that all regulatory compliance, administration and QMS records are completed on time and form and are filed correctly on the site.
  • Keep continuous improvement alive at the site level.
  • Facilitate continuous improvement through leadership in site root cause analysis and non-conformity management conformities
  • Support the review and analysis of the execution of the seed process in terms of quality achievement.
  • Promote the use of administration and quality tools and processes.
  • Act as site liaison for internal Stewardship and QMS audits / quality reviews / periodic evaluations
  • Oversee compliance with administration/QMS requirements and regulatory compliance.
  • Presentation of results at local and regional level.

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

  • Bachelor's degree in eng. Industrial, chemical, agronomist, administration or related.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in quality positions.
  • Advanced level of English, written and oral
  • Knowledge of international standards and quality tools.
  • Ability to create and update quality documents
  • Identification and promotion of interfaces in the station to guarantee the flow of processes.
  •  Ability to adapt to change and address quality nonconformities.
  • Focus on results.
  • Problem resolution.
  • Knowledge of MS Office.
  • Desirable knowledge of the Reliance platform (Syngenta quality database) or similar platform.
  • Skills for quality training.
  • Ability to prioritize and work under set deadlines.
  • Management and interpretation of data.
