Into Action

In the role of Product Owner you are responsible for the planning, delivery, and marketing of the products in the Flowers seeds space, with a special focus on the integrated business planning. Together with the business leads and other stakeholders, you will develop a vision and roadmap for the roll out of the relevant business solutions based on their inputs. You will define epics, user stories and maintain the backlog throughout development of the solutions. You maintain a consolidated view for the product with other global Flowers systems/products together with your global counterparts. Furthermore, you will identify the key benefits and value of products.

The Challenge

As our Product Owner you define the vision, product strategy and roadmap of assigned Flowers products and manage the product throughout its lifecycle to deliver value. You propose a product development plan and budget and you lead the (virtual) product team to ensure delivery of agreed objectives. As part of your role you write and direct creation of product requirements (user stories) and market requirements documents based on requirements of customers (internal and sometimes external), you provide business cases for investments and gain internal approval (defining and refining user stories and backlog, including maintenance). You run and direct pilots and MVPs (Minimum Viable Product) and you will develop and deliver launch plans. You lead the virtual digital product team to ensure delivery of agreed objectives and you promote the product to internal customers / teams / internal teams through training sessions, webinars, newsletters, and other mechanisms, develop and deliver training to technical support. In this job you are the recognized expert on the product, the process, the market, relevant technology, and the competition.

Qualifications

Your Profile

In order to make this position a success, you have at least 3 years of working experience in a similar role, preferable with industry understanding. You have experience in Planning, Product Owner management and product development along with People management, (customer) research and stakeholder management. You have knowledge about Agile Methodologies and Digital and IT (Information Technology) domain knowledge.
