You will be part of the Finance team and will support Crop Protection and Seeds Operations.

Role Purpose:

  • Support key Treasury projects such as automating Exposure Committed Identification based on robust accounting knowledge and SAP-HANA experience.
  • Cash management activities.
  • Ensure thorough and timely delivery of Treasury relevant accounting postings, processes and bookings particularly during the Month-end closure. Constantly pushing to improve the WoW with A2R in order to make delivery more reliable and efficient.
  • Provide and continuously improve the analysis and monthly reporting delivered to the regions and Group Treasury.
  • Support with Treasury related internal & external audit requests across the region

Responsibilities:

  • Committed FX Exposure Identification – Prepare daily/weekly/monthly exposure for all entities in the Americas by collecting information from different areas (A2R, I2P, O2C, Tax, Business Finance) and analysing the net position to propose effective hedge actions. Understanding and explaining changes in the exposure to support hedge decision. Ensure hedge results are booked as per Group Treasury policies.
  • Commodity Exposure Identification – Daily identification of new customer orders and request or hedge unwind from broker
  • Cash management, Ensure the availability of funds in daily basis, support funding strategies and cash flow decisions.
  • Treasury Accounting – Month End Closure activities (JV preparation, IS08A form preparation and BS26 validation etc.) and ad hoc postings (cash investments, loans etc.)
  • Analysis and Reporting
  • Audit – Participation in Treasury related audit requests, continuous improvement in WoW and ensuring all controls are well documented and clear explanations given
  • Projects – support with all projects

Qualifications

It is indispensable for this position:

  • Relevant degree in Finance and/or background of working in a multinational Finance team
  • Minimum 3-years experience in a Treasury or Accounting role
  • Strong knowledge of SAP-HANA/CFIN
  • Advance English
  • Ability to manage diverse stakeholders and to work in connection with remote and multicultural teams/stakeholders
  • Good understanding of Treasury end-to-end processes and internal controls/programs necessary to safeguard the Company’s assets
  • Learning agility, continuous improvement mindset
