Product Manager Biostimulants and Crop Nutrition

Location: Kyiv, Ukraine

Full-time, hybrid 

Role purpose: 

The role of the Ukraine Product Manager Biostimulants and Crop Nutrition reports to Ukraine Seedcare Portfolio lead and is part of the broader Ukraine Seedcare and Biologicals team.

This role is a key contributor to our ambition to become a leading biological products supplier in Ukraine and grow market share with the dynamics reflecting our technical and portfolio capabilities.

Accountabilities:

  • Conduct market analysis for the segment 
  • Forecast market and business development and identify key segments for business growth
  • Leverage expertise from Valagro and region to develop new markets and differentiated offers, by applying internal expertise and product knowledge 
  • Identify new business opportunities, partnerships and new GTM options to propose, for reaching new or existing customer segments 
  • Long-term focus on the marketing 4Ps of the relevant Biostimulants portfolio
  • Manage biostimulants and crop nutrition portfolio in Ukraine including branding, pricing, value proposition, supply/demand forecast optimization
  • Drive continued & profitable market share growth for the assigned biostimulants products through the development of biostimulants product tactical plans designed to serve customer needs
  • Contribute to budgeting process, 5-year business planning
  • In cooperation with Seedcare Technical Team - generate internal biostimulants product knowledge by learning and scaling, and sharing this knowledge across commercial teams
  • Initiate internal and external trials; manage demo trials

Qualifications

  • At least 3-5 years experience in a commercial or marketing roles within agricultural sector 
  • Portfolio or product management experience 
  • Understanding of biostimulants and crop nutrition products as well as current market and potential for its growth 
  • Agronomy and marketing acumen, understanding of the market needs and trends
  • Analytical mindset and strong data interpretation skills
  • Ability to build sound relationships with key influencers
  • Working in a team environment, across functions, both internally and externally
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, fluent in English
