  • Manage / Lead select 3rd party accounts in the areas of business development; including sales forecasting, demand planning through daily activities and participation in the weekly / monthly Sales Operation Planning process.
  • Manage Syngenta asset / product portfolio to ensure business delivery is congruent with Crop Protection Marketing Strategy which includes 5-year business planning and pricing guidance.
  • Assist PLCM Team in development of plans and strategies designed to maximize asset lifecycle values with Indication Heads, Product Leads and the Product Leadership Teams (PLT).
  • Support CP Product Lifecycle Management Head with periodic projects as they arise within the Crop Protection Marketing Leadership Team.
  • Work closely with supporting functions, e.g. Finance, Legal, Regulatory, Procurement and Syngenta Global 3rd Party Team (Basel) in the development and management of 3rd Party Contracts, Agreements and business related initiatives.
  • Coordinate with procurement on end-licensing of 3rd party active ingredients for use in Syngenta mixtures.
  • Lead end-to-end negotiation process (connected closely with Syngenta Finance & Legal for input / review / guidance), managing NDA’s, MTA’s and term sheets through final / executed contract with selected 3rd Party accounts integrated with forecasting and monitoring for contract compliance.
  • Lead and facilitate overall business delivery with select 3rd Party accounts
  • Work closely with Indication Heads and Product Leads to determine and source technologies to support Gap Fill measures.

This is a onsite position located in Greensboro, NC. 


Qualifications

Required:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (Preferably in Agriculture, Marketing, Finance, and/or Procurement).
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Agriculture Industry and/or Crop Protection market.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship support from Syngenta.

Preferred:

  • Product development and understanding of regulatory processes.
  • Project Management Experience (Excellent Planning and Organization skills).
  • Business case development, accompanied with appropriate analytics and strategy analysis, project management.
  • Knowledge of the competitive agricultural market environment and Syngenta product portfolio / offerings, positioning & strategies.
  • Experience working with financial, regulatory and legal processes / procedures, as well as internal planning & marketing operations, strategy & sales development and networking for necessary project approvals.
