Syngenta is seeking a Pipeline Tool Developer with strong technical and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and robust analytical tools enabling product advancement and placement for Vegetables & Flowers Seeds Development, Syngenta.
Responsibilities
- Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines to support the development and deployment of machine learning models and advanced analytics.
- Implementing infrastructure as code and automating and streamlining data operations with a focus on cloud-based data processing.
- Designing and developing end-to-end analytical pipeline.
- Supporting user interface development for web-based applications to enable data visualization.
- Implementing, and maintaining continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Building application containerization and orchestration within a cloud environment.
- Monitoring and optimizing the performance of deployed models by implementing best practices for logging, monitoring, and error handling to triage issues.
- Managing software deployment and configuration in non-production and production environments.
Qualifications
Critical Knowledge and Experience
- Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of post-academic working experience in software development.
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end software solutions.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
- Experience with big data technologies, e.g., Snowflake, Apache Airflow, dbt, etc.
- Experience with cloud-based services, DevOps concepts, and software development.
- Experience with API technologies (e.g. RESTful APIs or GraphQL)
- Experience with standard concepts and technologies used in CI/CD build and deployment pipelines.
- Proficiency in developing cloud-native applications and deploying to cloud environments, particularly AWS.
- Experience with developing data models and data pipelines
Desirable Experience
- At least 5 years of post-academic working experience in software development.
- Experience in designing, building, and maintaining end-to-end software solutions.
- Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
- Experience with big data technologies, e.g., Snowflake, Apache Airflow, dbt, etc.
