Payroll Coordinator

To support Payroll Team’s processing of bi-weekly and monthly payrolls including tax obligations and other administrative activities.  Collaborate with Payroll and HR Operations to ensure the optimal employee experience.

This role will be in a hybrid work setting in our Greensboro, NC Crop Protection headquarters.

• Support the timely and accurate administration of bi-weekly and monthly US company payroll processing in an end to end payroll process.
• Liaise with multiple vendors which support payroll, garnishments and payroll tax via multiple ticketing platforms to ensure accurate data processing and issue resolution.
• Support preparation and reconciliation of post process reporting in support of Finance and Total Rewards (payroll funding, GL, HSA/FSA, Credit Union, Union Dues, United Way and PAC) including retirement funding for US and Puerto Rico via our retirement vendors.
• Support ensuring that all tax obligations are met including applying for tax ids and communicate the ids to the payroll provider, review and submission of tax notices to the payroll provider tax team and monitoring payroll provider tax team obligations.
• Support employee, manager and HRBP inquiries through payroll knowledge and superior customer service.
• Prepare on-demand adhoc reports for Corporate Tax, other departments, various state/local tax agencies and attorneys as needed.

REQUIRED:

• 3+ years of experience in full-cycle, multi-state payroll processing.
• Extensive experience with payroll tax returns, tax deposits, W2 preparation, etc. required.
• Must have in-depth working knowledge of federal, state and local payroll practices/regulations.
• Advanced MS Office/Excel skills required including pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.

PREFERRED:

• CPP Certification is a plus.
• Experience with multiple payroll platforms with Dayforce or Workday being preferred.
