  • Convert the Global CP strategies and the BU Strategic House into comprehensive 5Y SMS marketing plans (iPlan)
  • Own SMS’s portfolio decisions and manage and allocate A&P (all 4Ps) spent and communication strategy
  • Overall responsibility for Portfolio %GP and %MS
  • Drive “one story” into Regions per strategic segment
  • Drive SMS’s portfolio decisions for the BU, influence and align with EAME priorities
  • Set strategic product positioning for critical NPI’s and brand repositioning through actionable Brand Plans
  •  Provide clear direction/KPI for CU campaigns, ensure aligned deployment with Portfolio/Product strategy
  • Contribute to forecasting with Sales to maximize accuracy and sales efficiency (S&OP)
  • Work together with the Regions to build Product + offers (solutions) in support of the intensified Marketing pillar of CP strategy
  • Work on developing solutions focused on growers’ needs rather then just product management
  • Lead cross-functional campaign teams and own annual E2E campaign cycle with execution and measurement of effective campaign offers that support the delivery of the annual sales targets
  • Supports collaboration with local influencers (including channel), local political customers or local members of the influencing group / governmental service.

Qualifications

Knowledge:

  • Understanding of agricultural market customer needs and trends
  • Knowledge of brand and portfolio management
  • In depth knowledge of Syngenta and competitors portfolio on Spec&VEG crops
  • Good understanding of regulation and implications ai/ product

Skills:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in the agricultural industry (in marketing, sales)
  • Experience in the application of crop agronomics and technologies and their contribution to the financial drivers of a grower’s business
  • Analytical and project management skills
  • Market and financial modelling
  • Verbal and written English (advanced level)
