This role 

Syngenta Nordics are looking for an experienced Sales or Marketing professional to join the Crop Protection team. As a Marketing Campaign Lead, you will be managing the development, execution, and measurement of all marketing campaigns. You are adding value to the business by driving the yearly campaign plan and ensuring the delivery of a meaningful customer experience in a consistent and collaborative manner that is on-brand and in line with the vision and goals of the business.

What you will be working on 

  • Accountable for driving the Syngenta Nordics yearly marketing campaigns from planning, development, and execution through measurement
  • Collaborate with the Digital Marketing team on websites, digital media, landing pages, email, social, and targeting as required
  • Key liaison between sales and marketing teams to understand grower needs and utilize customer segmentation to help deliver a positive experience that enhances loyalty and brand adoption
  • Accountable for the development and implementation of customer-targeted strategies, campaigns, and tactics at the grower and channel level in support of the business Must Wins
  • Collaborate with the Customer Engagement Team on customer segmentation and targeting
  • Work closely with Portfolio Management to ensure campaigns align with portfolio and brand strategy and to drive successful new product introductions

Qualifications

To succeed in the role you

  • Have a strong customer focus.
  • Have relevant knowledge of principles of marketing including campaigns, marketing best practices, CRM KAM, segmentation, and long-term valuation
  • Are familiar with Nordic agriculture including agronomic, seed, and chemical crop protection practices
  • Have a proven track record of excellent communication skills, combined with hands-on experience in navigating market dynamics in a competitive environment.
  • Have a relevant degree (B.Sc or MSc) in Agriculture, Business Administration, or Marketing /Communications.
  • 5+ years of Strategic Sales and/or Campaign Marketing experience within the agriculture industry is an asset
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of crop protection
  • Are fluent in English and Danish, fluency in more Nordic languages is considered a strong plus 
  • Have a track record of working in cross-functional teams
