The Production & Supply department for Syngenta seeks a passionate candidate for a full-time position of: 

Logistics COE & Projects (1.0 FTE)

As our Logistics Center of Expertise & Projects, you will lead the charge in developing and implementing cutting-edge strategies to optimize our logistics processes. Your mission? Drive continuous improvement, enhance efficiency, and elevate customer satisfaction to new heights. Get ready to make a real impact and shape the future of logistics within our organization!

The challenge 

  • As the Logistics COE & Projects, you'll be at the forefront of innovation, establishing and leading our Logistics Center of Expertise. You'll define best practices, standardize procedures, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with our business objectives.
  • But that's not all – you'll also roll up your sleeves and dive into logistics project management, identifying opportunities for improvement, planning and executing projects, and conducting post-project evaluations to ensure success.
  • Your talent for continuous improvement will drive us forward as you implement lean methodologies and foster a culture of innovation.
  • And of course, you'll be the master of stakeholder management, building strong relationships both internally and externally to support our COE initiatives.

Qualifications

Your profile 

  • To thrive in this role, you'll need a Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field – a master's degree is a definite plus.
  • Advanced certification in Supply Chain Management and operational excellence experience will set you apart, along with proven leadership skills and a track record of success in logistics management.
  • You're a strategic thinker with excellent analytical abilities, able to juggle multiple projects with ease while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Plus, your communication skills, in both Dutch & English, are excellent, allowing you to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and inspire your team to greatness.
  • You are currently living in The Netherlands.
