IT Specialist (Greek & English speaker)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, proactive IT support and coordination to users on local and global initiatives
• Excel in first class customer centric service and communications to users in Greece
• Establish and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for standardization and simplification
• Continuously seek to improve service to the client

 Day-to-Day Activities

• Coordinate the local IT Support agent(s) in collaboration with the IT Manager and provide support on technical tasks as required
• Manage local&global IT change initiatives in collaboration with the IT Manager
• Ensure compliance with Syngenta IT standards and policies with special focus on security (cybersecurity, IT Asset Management)
• Ensure transparent communication to local stakeholders on issues and future changes
• Manage local vendor-related tasks, such IT vendor management&relationships, IT Purchase Orders, contracts and invoices, in collaboration with the IT Manager

To support that challenge, we’re looking for a: IT Specialist Greece

Essential:

• 3-5 years of work experience in Information Technology, ideally on infrastructure-related topics
• Experience in supporting, and possibly leading, IT projects
• Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure and end user computing technology
• Working knowledge of how an IT service organization operates
• Fluency in Greek and English languages (both written and spoken) is a must

Based at the Athens office - 1 day of Remote Work per week
