Job description

Role purpose

  • Designing campaign and contribute to Growth Initiatives by leading the process
  • Develop marketing campaign to contribute to the delivery of the business objectives in the scope of Field Crops Business and lead the implementation of the campaign activities to meet annual sales and market share objectives 
  • To drive performance of Campaigns, Channel and ensure effective pricing
  • Interact with Channel Partners by ensuring effective NK brands launch and promotion and rolling-out selected PULL activities
  • Contribute in the shaping of the marketing objectives in the frame of the campaign and activities to support the attainment of the financial objectives along with the Sales Team
  • Effective resource allocation and budget management
  • Provide grower and channel partner insights to be the voice of the market and force of proposition in generating unique and differentiated approaches

Accountabilities

  • Lead the development of innovative integrated campaigns through the leadership of campaign team to deliver targeted and actionable campaigns and enhance the delivery of the growth strategy for country
  • Design and develop brand campaigns by using customer insights,
  • Lead the development of marketing activities, clear plans with the appropriate activities to meet campaign initiatives.
  • Responsible for managing the budget, ensuring optimum efficiency and value for money, producing a plan and monitoring expenditure
  • Communicate campaign plans to the commercial teams to ensure effective implementation and co-ordination
  • Responsible for full campaign management process to maximize efficiencies and effectiveness
  • Ensure all campaigns have the appropriate level of actionable measures and a pre planned 360 review process included
  • Work with Marketing Communication for PR, advertising, ensure alignment of theme and key messages, to implement A&P activities
  • Develop a campaign calendar and planning across country
  • Own and frame the content of Campaign Marketing to ensure alignment of stakeholders (e.g. Sales Team, Marketing) & Channel Partners (e.g. Distributors, Retailers, Key Accounts )
  • Ensure views from Channel Partners are being taken into consideration when defining campaign to maximize leverage and alignment
  • Actively contribute in the launch of campaign activities supporting Sales Team and being involved with Channel Partners (e.g. Distributors, Retailers) as appropriated and defined with Sales Team
  • Work closely with Digital Marketing to ensure that communication and digital flow are adapted to seek advices whenever appropriate when designing Campaigns.
  • Work with Marketing team while developing the market strategy and execution across the business

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

Critical knowledge

  • Bachelor’s degree in agronomy or business
  • Marketing (concepts, marketing mix principles, etc.) / Segmentation (concept and application)
  • Agribusiness experience: knowledge of cropping practices and corn products
  • General product management (marketing mix).
  • Knowledge of Business to Business marketing gained through experience of different promotional techniques
  • Sales & Marketing principles, particularly around campaign management and market communications
  • Understanding of corn market and grower segments (e.g. campaign management, marketing offers, channel strategies, market research techniques)

Critical experience

  • Experience of developing and implementing marketing communication strategies
  • High quality communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Advertising, PR, literature production and media processes

Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities

  • Project management, negotiation, communication, prioritization, analytical skills, strategic thinking.
  • Ability to lead cross functional teams and provide clear and consistent direction on the Campaign processes
  • Managing complex projects
  • Ability to influence and gain support for key stakeholders
