Job description

Accountabilities

IT services and Technology Business Partner Russia-Kazbec focusing on:

  • Building up to date Infrastructure architecture to onboard and support following technology, including Cloud servers and services, Network equipment, Data Warehouse and Data Lake, BI, CRM, ERP + track and trace.
  • Leading infrastructure track in core projects for ERP, CRM, BI, Track and Trace in Russia-Kazbec, ensuring that we are using and choosing best local vendors and following IT security standards.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of IT services, the Service Desk, IT contractors, and providers, ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of services to internal customers within Syngenta's Russian and KAZBEK territories.

Incident and Problem Management:

  • Managing and resolving incidents, requests, and problems related to IT services, minimizing disruptions to business operations withing agreed SLAs.

Service Level Management:

  • Defining and managing service level agreements (SLAs) and operation level agreements (OLAs) to ensure services meet agreed-upon performance targets, in accordance with ITIL v4.
  • Regular review and continuous improvement.
  • Budgeting and payment of supplier services.

Change Management:

  • Managing changes to IT systems (cloud storage, physical and virtual servers, network equipment, and video conferencing systems) and services, ensuring their implementation with minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Control, review, and pro-active reporting for all changes with all stake holders.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring their needs are understood and met, on local, regional and global level where’s needed.

Continuous Service Improvement:

  • Identifying and implementing opportunities to improve the quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of IT services in cloud, network, servers, VC, printing and other equipment.
  • Regular EOL replacement for all infrastructure (network, servers, printers, VC etc.) and user’s IT equipment (e.g. laptops, smartphones, tablets etc.). Planning, business case preparation, following Syngenta standards and best practice.
  • Regular refreshment and alignment for IT policies in the region (Devices, Mobile services etc.)

Resource and IT Project Management:

  • Managing IT outsource resources, including personnel, budget, and technology, to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Managing IT projects aimed at localization and import substitution or developing current solutions.
  • Preparing Cloud infrastructure for current and future business technology transformation projects, including ERP, CRM, BI, DWH, new GTM for Digital Marketing streams.

Security and Compliance:

  • Ensuring IT security, infrastructure, access control, and their compliance with applicable company regulations, policies, and legislation.
  • Ensure that all service and support functions meet customer needs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant reporting standards.
  • Ensure that all technical changes are communicated, managed, and appropriately governed.
  • Ensure the implementation of a continuous service improvement program across the entire service delivery function.

Work related to supporting the functioning of the office in Russia and KAZBEC region.

Qualifications

Knowledge, experience & capabilities

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, and/or a master’s degree.
  • At least 7 years of experience in IT.
  • Experience working in matrix organizations and managing contractors (external service providers, geographically distributed).
  • Good knowledge of local vendors and their capabilities.
  • Infrastructure Architecture role for at least one of the full end-to-end project with localization for ERP, CRM, BI, DWH, AD, Exchange, web site, any global application.
  • ITIL certification, or confirmation of training and practical knowledge for last 5 years.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing IT projects using the following methodologies: PMBoK, Prince 2, Waterfall, Scrum.
  • Completed training and/or advanced courses in IT competency development.
  • Conversational English, experience interacting with English-speaking suppliers and colleagues from other countries.
