As an intern in Formulation Engineering at Syngenta, you will support technology and innovation projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes and exploring new technologies for formulation production sites. You will work under the supervision of experienced professionals, contributing to research and developing clear, concise reports. Your role will also involve promoting the adoption of new technologies and innovative practices within the formulation engineering group and identifying opportunities to enhance safety, sustainability, and efficiency in processes.
Additionally, as a student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in chemical or process engineering, you will be able to write your thesis with us.

Accountabilities

  • Contribute to diverse projects in Formulation Engineering Technology and Innovation.
  • Support research efforts for various technology and innovation projects under supervision.
  • Create clear and concise reports documenting research and project findings.
  • Promote the implementation of new technologies and working methods in the formulation group.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, driving impactful changes.

Qualifications

  • You are enrolled as a student pursuing a Bachelors's or Masters's degree in chemical engineering or process engineering, with a focus on writing a thesis based on the Syngenta internship experience.
  • Previous industrial experience, such as a prior internship is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Preferred qualification: Familiarity with Formulation Unit operations like milling, mixing, and powder handling. 
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of German, French, or other languages is a plus.
