As part of the ERP/SAP application team you would be responsible to work with the planning teams to translate the needs into functional requirements which can be taken forward effectively by the technical team. You should be able to create the design at a level of detail which enables a developer to execute the configuration and the development in IBP.

You should have functional knowledge on SAP IBP for Demand and S&OP modules and able to exploit the best use of these modules to meet the business need in the most effective, efficient and sustainable way. You will drive overall leadership for the delivery of the enhancements and maintenance of the existing applications in Agile and Devops methodologies.

As a global functional analyst you will fulfill the role of a subject matter expert and be able to link the requirements to the relevant IBP module(s), including integration through CPI-DS.

You will also be accountable to develop the web user interface and build reports in SAP Analytic Clouds.

Accountabilities

Gather and frame business requirements, Application analysis and designing the optimal solutions that meet business needs. A critical part is to effectively work and proactively with business users as well as other IT teams to ensure that the changes including enhancements are implemented effectively.

Day to day accountabilities will englobe:

  • Ability to engage with Global and Regional business stakeholders to understand the business processes and perform the configuration analysis and associated impacts on IBP, CPI-DS.
  • Work in close collaboration with the supplier team to prioritize, resolve and close the incidents and deliver the changes
  • Support projects and small changes processes whenever there is a new requirement coming on planning related topics in Agile and DEVOPS methodologies
  • Define the feasibility of a solution, its implementation, its interaction with the existing systems and improve the cost effectiveness of the Platform / Solution
  • Analyze and decompose complex requirements into standard user stories
  • Fulfill the role of a subject matter expert and be able to link the requirements to the relevant IBP module(s), including integration
  • Working experience in SAP IBP response module.
  • Ability to get into solution design mode and guide the development team on IBP configurations.
  • Expertise in IBP S&OP and Demand modules.
  • Experience in SAP APO , SAP ECC and S4.

Education and experience.

The role would desire:

  • A bachelor’s degree in technical disciplines like computer science/engineering with 4+ years or relevant SAP experience in a global multi-SAP environment setup.
  • Hands on experience in SAP IBP, SAC and CPI functionalities and its integration with other SAP functions especially Inventory/Materials management.
  • Expertise/experience in SAP perspective as well as business point of view.
  • Good knowledge on planning processes from demand generation to rough-cut planning
  • Integration especially with the CPI middleware is a must along with knowledge of debugging, batch jobs processing.
  • Strong problem solving and teamwork with ability to work in minimal supervision.
  • Knowledge of S4HANA (not mandatory) will be desirable.
  • Strong Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an agile framework with knowledge on ITIL processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in IT (or related field)
