In Action

As the Head of Operations EAME (Global Operations Flowers), you'll be at the forefront of steering the supply chain operations in the Flowers industry across the EAME region. With your expertise and leadership, you will drive efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction to new heights.

You will lead the Flowers EAME Supply Chain Operations to meet regional market demands with standard quality levels. You will drive the Planning, Back Office, Logistics, and Customer Service teams to deliver regional strategic plans and foster continuous improvement. Furthermore, you will ensure that Supply Chain Operations meet the EAME Business Requirements and deliver the necessary service levels.

 

The Challenge

Your challenge lies in orchestrating the complex network of supply-related functions, understanding industry dynamics, and leading a diverse team across different regions. You will need to balance strategic planning with operational execution, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.

You understand the regional customer requirements and foster effective internal relationships to align Supply Chain Operations with business needs. Ensure end-to-end alignment, proactive communication, and collaboration within the team and with other departments to execute integrated planning effectively. You will optimize operating and investment budgets to meet targets and control expenditures effectively.

Qualifications

The Profile

Critical Knowledge: Possess a Supply Chain degree, with an MSc preferred. Deep understanding of demand management, planning, forecasting, MRP, DRP, logistics, distribution, warehousing, and S&OP process. Knowledge of the fresh produce industry operations including processing methods, production schedules, quality control, and cost management.

Critical Experience: Demonstrated conceptual and strategic thinking abilities. Strong customer focus with exceptional leadership, interpersonal, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Proven track record of excellent planning, organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.

Critical Leadership Capabilities: Experienced in managing teams within a large matrix organization. Ability to identify performance improvement opportunities and operate effectively in a multi-cultural environment.
