Global Asset Reliability Expert (m, f, n)

This is a new role, potential locations include Muttenz, Münchwillen, Basel or Monthey

Role Purpose:

You will have a unique chance to develop harmonised best practices in reliability on 30 manufacturing sites based in EAME, APAC, LATAM and NA.

• Develop capabilities of reliability expertise on all our manufacturing sites, aligned with business needs
• Developing and deploying reliability best practices at every step of asset management
• Help the organization to reach the next level of performance, increasing asset reliability
• Lead innovation of reliability technics in close relation with sites, identify emerging trends

Accountabilities:

• Gather existing best practices across all sites and leverage within the organization
• Raise capabilities across all sites by providing guidance and trainings especially on: Methodologies (critical analysis, bad actor management, FMEA, etc.) &-Tools and technics for preventive and predictive maintenance
• Lead innovation process in this area of technology (online monitoring, predictive to prescriptive technics, IOT, etc.)
• Act as consultant to guide the site according to their needs for reliability improvements
• Benchmark best practices across relevant manufacturing organization
• Develop and lead a 12 months / 3 years vision for reliability improvement
• Ensure the reliability network management and animation across sites

We are looking for someone with:

• A strong experience in deploying reliability technics in an asset intensive manufacturing environment (steel industry, oil & gas, high volume consumer goods, …). You have good influencing skills, a pragmatic style, and ability to link your contribution with business benefits.
• You have a passion for internal customer as you will be helping sites in implementing the right techniques, you have a strong focus on performance and particularly good relation / communication skills / experience in change management.
• You will be travelling from 20 to 60% of your time.
• Language: fluent in English, French would be a key advantage
