We have several opportunities for Fill & Pack Operators to join our Workstation team in Syngenta’s Grangemouth Manufacturing Centre. Working in line with HSEQ standards, you will operate plant and equipment. The current shift pattern is a 4-days on, 4-days off 10-week cycle including a block of 18 days’ leave.

Key Accountabilities

  • Setting up and running of multiple semi and automatic filling lines including;
    • loading materials, operating a wide range of machinery, product cleandowns, equipment size changeovers, downtime recording
  • Interpretation of planning documentation, carrying out and recording quality checks
  • Operate various information systems associated with F&P technology
  • Carry out housekeeping and basic maintenance activities on the filling lines and associated plant
  • Permit to work issuer / acceptor

Qualifications

Requisite Experience, Skills and Behaviours:

  • Experience in a similar role on a fast-paced production line
  • Ability to apply rigorous HSEQ standards with minimum supervision
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to plan and co-ordinate multiple tasks
  • Self-motivated, with excellent attention to detail
  • Experienced in the Basic Microsoft Office packages
  • Previous production experience in a bulk liquid filling or FMCG operation is desirable
  • Knowledge of working in a chemical orientated production environment and associated HSEQ requirements is desirable
