Role Purpose

At Syngenta, we are working to build the most collaborative and trusted team in agriculture that provides leading seeds and crop protection innovations to enhance the prosperity of farmers. To support this challenge, Syngenta’s Professional Solutions (SPS) team is currently seeking a Digital Marketing Manager in Greensboro, NC.

This role will provide leadership and support in developing and executing the creation, development, support and implementation of digital marketing solutions and tools that drive growth for the professional solution business. This role is key to ensuring a seamless digital marketing strategy is in place through a variety of avenues including customer facing websites, digital tools, email campaign strategies, social media and mobile apps.  This position will work closely with the customer marketing teams across all the markets within SPS to ensure a cohesive digital platform is aligned with market and brand strategies.

Accountabilities

  • Lead the digital marketing team in the development and maintenance of key digital tools including several customer facing websites, digital tools and mobile apps through collaboration with both internal and external development partners
  • Ensure close interaction and alignment with key stakeholders, including market and brand management, marketing programs and sales team.
  • Oversee the creation and execution of electronic communications to launch marketing programs, pricing, operational updates, and various customer communications.
  • Manage various digital projects including the related support from partners such as Infosys and external ad agency.
  • Ensure the ongoing web presence meets the global and local branding standards and guidelines.
  • Update various customer-facing digital tools periodically to align with key annual end-user and channel customer program components.
  • Improve the design, UX, traffic, and content of customer facing websites
  • Define and implement appropriate measurement methods, metrics, and ROI models to evaluate internet and electronic communication effectiveness.
  • Drive continual improvement in email marketing execution (including targeted campaigns and channel announcements) and subscriber list growth.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Agriculture, Marketing, Design, Business Administration, and/or related discipline)
  • A minimum of 5 years of sales/marketing experience with a digital focus (Web design and digital tool development)
  • Must have experience with HTML and CSS coding
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship from Syngenta

Preferred Requirements

  • Graphic design skills and experience with UI/UX development
  • Salesforce.com / CRM experience is a plus
  • Working knowledge of internet architecture (certificates, redirects, domains, infrastructure, etc.)
  • Experience working with a content management system
